Humans of CPS

By Samantha H. and Claudia C.

“Where do you see yourself in 20 years?”

“I see myself being the leader of a tiny country in the Pacific.”

“What’s something that most people don’t know about you?”

“I’m really scared of mayonnaise.”

“So what’s on your swimsuit?”

“Abraham Lincoln wrestling a grizzly bear, Ronald Reagan riding a velociraptor, George Washington fighting a tiger, and Ronald Reagan in a muscle car.”

“When did you know that you were going to be friends?”

“We didn’t actually talk that much on retreat, but later we noticed that we would both say random things that no one else would get. Except she would get it.”

“What was the best moment of your day?”

“Finding a madeleine in my lunch box.”

“What are you guys doing?”

“La lingua inglese è brutto, e italiano è bello.”

[Translation: The English language is ugly, and Italian is beautiful.]

“Why are we smiling: soccer season is about to start.”

“What was the best moment of your day?”

“When I got to tell Zoe that she wasn’t funny.”

“What’s something most people don’t know about you?”

Eli: “I’m left-handed and left-souled. I love my math group more than I love my family.

@Huma&Max.”

“What’s something that inspires you?”

“The teachers at CPS.”

“What’s been the best part of your day so far?”

Lauren: “Spending 45 minutes with Kristine in math.”

Katherine: “Realizing today was the first day of the swim season.”
