Interview conducted by Elsa C.

Elsa: Okay, we're gonna start with the rapid-fire questions. I'll let you see them. Gym deck or Student Commons?

Auden: Student Commons, for sure.

Elsa: Favorite Trader Joe’s snack?

Auden: I think I'm gonna have to go with the Takis, or the fake Takis.

Elsa: Freshman Physics or Asian Worlds?

Auden: Definitely Asian Worlds. I love that class.

Elsa: Nice! Favorite bathroom at CPS?

Auden: I'm a big fan of the single Hill bathroom, but the Scott bathrooms are also really good.

Elsa: Okay, what's something that not a lot of people at CPS know about you?

Auden: Let's see. So I'm usually overshadowed by Charlie, who is the guitar master, but I've actually been been playing classical guitar for about 11 years now, so that's something that probably a lot of people don't know about me.

Elsa: That's cool. That’s a long time. Where do you see yourself in five years?

Auden: This is a tough question. I hope to be in a big city. I hope to probably have an internship or something like that. I want to try and… let's see. In the next five years, I hope to be in New York or Boston. I hope to be on the East Coast. I'm ready to get out of the West Coast and explore the country a little bit.

ElsaWhat's one of your favorite CPS memories?

Auden: My freshman year spirit week was my favorite so far. The energy was insane. We were winning all the challenges and yeah, those were just really good moments.

Elsa: Okay, if you could give advice to your freshman-year self, what would it be?

Auden: Let's see here. Try and relax and take everything a little bit more light-heartedly. I'm a lot more efficient and enjoy school a lot more when I'm not so stressed out and not thinking about all the things that could go wrong. So yeah, just zoom out a little bit.

Elsa: And the last question, if you could say thank you to one room at CPS, which one would it be and why?

Auden: Definitely the quiet room. I don't know if that counts as a room, but that has gotten me through so many assignments; I've done so many retake tests and stuff there. So yeah, I owe a lot to that room.

Elsa: Hey, that's the last question. Fantastic.
