Surina: Hi, Magnolia. Ready to get started on this interview?

Magnolia: I'm ready.

Surina: Okay, we're gonna start off with some rapid-fire questions. First, what's your favorite Trader Joe's snack?

Magnolia: I like the little star-shaped cookies.

Surina: Ooh, those are good. Next: what is your favorite way to spend a rainy day?

Magnolia: Inside with a book or TV show, super cozy sweatpants, blanket, maybe even a fire and no work.

Surina: That sounds very nice. What's one item on your bucket list?

Magnolia: One item on my bucket list is traveling to…a lot of places, actually. There's a lot of places I want to go, like Egypt. That would be cool. Morocco would be cool. Also, the Philippines. There are a lot of places I want to see.

Surina: Okay, so, time for some longer response questions. What is something not a lot of people know about you?

Magnolia: I have an older sibling. He's four years older than me. He’s graduated college, and most people think I'm an only child.

Surina: Why do you think that is?

Magnolia: Probably my personality? [laughs]

Surina: Relatable. What's one of your favorite CPS memories?

Magnolia: I don't know. I just really like outings junior year and senior year. Once you can drive and go to College, it's very nice to be able to just go get a drink and talk with your friends. So Chocolate Dragon has seen me numerous times getting a mocha, so maybe those would be some of my favorite memories.

Surina: Where do you see yourself in five years?

Magnolia: Graduated from college, entry-level position at somewhere that I like working at, doing, ideally, something that helps people.

Surina: Like, community-oriented work?

Magnolia: Yeah, or, like, policy. I guess we'll see. Maybe even a lawyer. Well, I wouldn't become a lawyer in five years, but maybe I’d be on that path, in law school.

Surina: Nice. Well, thank you for your time Magnolia!

Magnolia: Thanks, Surina, see you later.
