MVP of the Week

Maia Beltran is our MVP of the week, as her hattrick* helped the girl's varsity soccer team defeat Bentley for the second time this season. The team extended its winning streak to 6 games. I also want to shout out Damon Fitzpatrick and the entire men's varsity basketball team for coming from behind to pull off an overtime dub against Redwood Christian. Hopefully, this will give them the spark they need to turn their season around.

Looking Towards Next Week:

Next week girls soccer plays Head Royce and Athenian back to back on Tuesday and Wednesday, two of their conference rivals. Both girls and boys varsity basketball have league matches against Bentley on Tuesday, and for the girls, it will be their final regular-season match of the year. Next Saturday, the boys JV and F/S basketball teams will be playing at a jamboree in SF, where they hope to take home some hardware for the trophy case. Frosh Soph’s last home game this season is on Monday, so show up if you want to see them before it is too late.

*Hattrick = scoring 3 goals.
