“I think I wouldn’t be the person I am without my mom. She definitely is my role model–and it’s super cliche, I know–but definitely all of my values stem from her; not even her preaching [her values] but rather her actions. Like she’s a dentist and she owns two practices and it’s super inspiring, seeing a woman who’s an entrepreneur and a doctor, managing to take care of her kids and balance her career. The way she does it so gracefully and elegantly is amazing. I think a lot of times I’ve looked up to her and how she approaches life with such a positive attitude despite all the pressure she’s around … The pressures we feel are super different, but the way she combats them inspires me to combat mine as well.”
