Elsa: I'm going to start with the rapid fire questions. You can answer these pretty quickly.

Elsa: Favorite Trader Joe’s snack?

Desiree: Dark-chocolate-covered pretzels.

Elsa: Freshman Physics or Asian Worlds?

Desiree: Freshman Physics.

Elsa: Gym deck or student commons?

Desiree: Gym deck.

Elsa: Go-to karaoke song?

Desiree: Oh god, I don't know if I have one.

Elsa: We can come back.

Desiree: Okay.

Elsa: Best way to spend a rainy day?

Desiree: Baking.

Elsa: Favorite day of the week?

Desiree: Saturday.

Elsa: One item on your bucket list?

Desiree: Scuba diving.

Elsa: Okay, I have some longer response questions. You can talk a little bit more about these.

Elsa: What is something not a lot of people know about you?

Desiree: I used to do dance, when I was a kid.

Elsa: Really??

Desiree: And then I stopped when I was like 10 because of COVID.

Elsa: Oh no.

Desiree: It was very tragic.

Elsa: And now you're back in Kpop Demon Hunters [choreo]!

Desiree: I am back. That's crazy.

Elsa: If you could say thank you to one place on campus, what would it be and why?

Desiree: Probably the art room. It’s a really nice place to do work, relax with your friends, and look at all the other cool stuff that other students are working on at the moment.

Elsa: What’s one of your favorite CPS memories?

Desiree: Um, I guess this one is just on my mind because of intraterm, but the backpacking intraterm last year was really fun. And like, eating, making dinner together, all that stuff was very fun.

Elsa: Aww, okay. If you could give advice to your freshman self, what would it be?

Desiree: Do work during your free periods, but don't only do work during your free periods.

Elsa: Ah, okay. Where do you see yourself in five years?

Desiree: Uhh, in a small apartment in some city [laughs].

Elsa: Anything else you want to add to that?

Desiree: Hopefully I’ll have a cat…?

Elsa: And you're going to go…graduate from college?

Desiree: [laughs] Ideally, one would hope.

Elsa: Do you want to go back to the karaoke question?

Desiree: It’s a really hard question. I know most Disney princess songs pretty well, I have to say.

Elsa: That’s a good one. Thanks for the interview!
